Helemaal goed deze manier. Lekker simpel.
I must watch and learn about this.
I am in the process of arranging for an artist to do CD mailers for my “Seven Virtues” EP.
@gurdonark: you will start selling the CD? I might try this method myself. Just for fun. ‘Hide’ a couple of KlankBeeld disks in the outside world :-)
@Marco for the first music I recorded, a few years ago, I printed up CDs and then either gave them away or sold them on eBay for a very low cost. There is still a bit of a digital divide about mp3s and download music.
So I’ll print up a few dozen, give away some to friends, and sell a few on eBay–not to make money on eBay, but to spread the music. I find that selling things very inexpensively on eBay is a good way to get poetry or music distributed.
I just got a bid from an artist on etsy.com to design a CD mailer for me with a cool design. The bid came in within 30 minutes of when I posted the
request for bids, with a stylish illustration–and the cost per cover for a very short run will be peanuts. It will be fun!
But now I must focus on that video, because it would be fun to make 10 or 12 covers by hand :). But here is where I do not have a Puck when I need one! :)
